JUXTAPOZ
An elementary, direct design concept
The Intersection of Shapes, Colors, and Materials
JUXTAPOZ blends titanium and acetate, drawing inspiration from the hard-edge art movement led by Leon Polk Smith, continuing the geometric exploration of Piet Mondrian.
The interplay of shapes and colors, along with the fusion of materials at the bridge and temples, creates a dynamic design. The titanium structure overlaps with the acetate to energize the lines, while contrasting textures offer a subtle visual distinction. The clean design reveals sharp surfaces, juxtaposed contours, and harmonious geometries.
The color palette is restrained, primarily built on ton-sur-ton shades. The key concepts here are sobriety and refinement.
Contemporary and lightweight frames
Highly visual and deeply rooted in Anne&Valentin’s DNA, the frames of this concept embrace quiet luxury and anti-bling, offering effortless sophistication. No chatter, no ostentation, no fuss! JUXTAPOZ stands apart from the ordinary, remarkable without trying to be. It’s a concept that embodies a statement through its anti-statement – relaxed, elegant, contemporary, direct, and efficient.
Unapologetically “designer,” these frames challenge style itself, as true style expresses a certain chicness that is effortless, soft, and neutral, like objects that hold their ground without being loud.
JUXTAPOZ frames are open books, with nothing to hide, leaving room for imagination in their dialogue. Their visual impact is striking, instantly captivating.
Made in Japan
